The course of grant process

1. Publication of the grant

Requirements for receiving the grant, evaluation criteria and rules, time schedule and the total amount of awarded grants is a part of the publication of the grant. The publication of the grant is completely under the remit of RWE Gas Storage which also stipulates all requirements for receiving the grant. The grant is published on RWE Gas Storage website or municipalities are directly notified.

2. Evaluation of the grant

The project is evaluated by a committee consisting of 3 members - RWE Gas Storage Executive, RWE Gas Storage representative of local operation and RWE Transgas - on the basis of criteria known in advance.

3. Notification of the grant programme results

Once the applications have been evaluated, all the applicants will be informed of the award or dismissal of the grant in writing, or by email.

4. Grant accounting

After the project is completed, accounting and controlling is done.

5. Model example

The kindergarten in Háje applies for a grant. The kindergarten takes care of 70 children. In order to build a new playground which is part of the kindergarten it applies for 40 000 CZK. It wants to use the money for the purchase of playground equipment the installation of which will be ensured by the kindergarten and parents or with own funds.

Evaluation:

• Locality: Háje – locality UGS RWE Gas Storage (10 points)
• Degree of impact: 40 000/70 = 571 (8 points)
• Tangibility of the project: (10 points)
• Benefit of the grant: (7 points)
