RWE Gas Storage, s.r.o. was established by unbundling from the company RWE Transgas, a.s. and was entered into the Register of Companies as of May 1, 2007.

RWE Gas Storage, s.r.o. is the biggest underground gas storage operator in the Czech Republic with a working gas volume over 2.6 billion cm.
