Storage Code

Due to amending of public notice no. 524/2006 and with regards to market requirements an proposal of amendment of Storage Code has been published. Key changes include:

1. Cover page added

2. Original paragraph 2.17 – Allocation procedure – omitted

3. Change in link and delivery address (paragraph 4.3)

4. Changes associated with the amendment of the Public Notice on gas market rules

4.1. changes in the deadlines for the submission and assessment of requests for storage capacity (paragraphs 4.4, 4.5, 5.4 and 5.5)

4.2. definition of daily and monthly gas storage contract with firm capacity added (paragraph 7.1)

4.3. short-term gas storage contract with firm capacity omitted (paragraph 7.1)

4.4. modification of the formulation in the storage capacity information to be published (paragraph 10.1)

4.5. change in the deadline for the confirmation of renominations (paragraph. 14.8.5)

4.6. change in the deadline for the delivery of information to storage users concerning the quantity of gas injected and withdrawn in the preceding calendar month (paragraph 16.4)

5. A different procedure for newly built storage capacity added (paragraph 5.7)

6. Change in the invoicing and payment terms for daily and short-term storage capacities, the term “tax document” replaces the term “advance invoice”, paragraphs relating to aggregate tax document are omitted (chapter 18)

7. Extension of the validity of the storage user’s financial eligibility in the case of daily and short-term contracts – (Conditions of financial eligibility of the storage user, point 1)
